Course Description

Unlike trauma education programs targeted at prehospital and emergency care providers, the Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) course is specifically designed for critical care, perioperative, ward, and rehabilitation nurses who primarily work with children. The course will also appeal to other health professionals working in trauma settings. This pediatric-specific version of the adult TCAR course gives inpatient staff members the foundational, evidence-based information and critical thinking skills necessary to provide excellent care to this challenging patient population.

Unlike trauma education programs targeted at prehospital and emergency care providers, the Pediatric Care After Resuscitation (PCAR) course is specifically designed for acute care, critical care, perioperative, and rehab nurses who routinely work with children.

Now, for the first time ever, you don't need to be at a major trauma center (or in a classroom) to experience the world's highest quality trauma nursing program. With TCAR HK Live Online, you can receive elite trauma training wherever you are, whenever you are ready to begin.

No classroom? No problem! The new Live Online format brings TCAR to you, wherever you are. This virtual version of the course includes interactive quizzes, Q&A opportunities, and features the same in-depth material and high-quality visuals as in the classroom. Course content is divided into four, 4-hour parts to promote learning retention. Enrollment includes a full-colour, 160+ page, downloadable Manual.

TCAR Self-Paced Online employs a case scenario format that follows trauma patients from point of injury to hospital discharge. Learning interactions, knowledge checks, and videos are interspersed throughout to enhance information retention.
